I’m seeking your support for re-election to the City of Perth Council
I’m an East Perth resident and city worker in Rail Infrastructure, a Justice of the Peace, qualified Town Planner and Project Manager. With 16 years’ local government expertise working hard for ratepayers, I’ve served as Deputy Mayor of Joondalup & Perth, including the last 5 years as your local Councillor.
I’ve worked hard to: Restore good governance to our capital city; Establish a Ratepayer Budget Forum; Deliver free parking & community events; Enhance community safety & security; & Advocate for the lowest rates increases in WA.
I’m committed to continuing my strong track record of improving the liveability of our city and I seek your support to be re-elected as your voice for our community.
PRIORITIES FOR PERTH
I have a record of delivery - Here is my vision for the future:
SAFE & SECURE
I want a safe, friendly, and inviting Perth. I’ll continue to advocate for safer public places including more lighting, CCTV, Rangers, and a strong working relationship with WA Police.
I’m confident that we can make Perth the safest capital city in Australia.
INNER-CITY LIVING
I want to make sure we deliver the East Perth Sport & Recreation Hub to attract more families to live in the city.
I’ll advocate for the delivery of the Community Infrastructure Plan to enhance the liveability of our suburbs.
CLAISEBROOK COVE REDEVELOPMENT
Maintaining our ageing infrastructure is crucial to ensure its enjoyment for future generations. This project has the backing of community and I’ll make sure we push to see these important upgrades delivered for East Perth.
CREATIVE & CULTURAL
Small and large-scale events, major festivals, artworks, and cultural events are what enhance the vibrancy of our city.
Local activations, venue support grants, & event sponsorship need a boost – I’ll advocate for an increase to funding for the arts across all areas.
MAIN STREET UPGRADES
James Street redevelopment will bring new life into our entertainment precinct, and Hay Street upgrade will reimagine West Perth with a vibrant atmosphere in mind. I want to make sure we deliver these important upgrades.
GOOD GOVERNANCE
Stable leadership - that’s what you can expect from me. I’m committed to a well-governed and high-performing Council.
With my record of experienced service, i’ll make sure we stay on track and keep delivering for the Perth community.
COMMUNITY FOCUS
I brought the co-designed Ratepayer Budget Forum to Council to hear directly from you. I’ve worked with neighbourhood groups to build in priorities at the front end of the budget process to deliver services that community wants including: more community facilities, playgrounds, public restrooms.
INDIGENOUS CULTURAL CENTRE
Council supported my Strategic Position Statement to locate a centre within the City of Perth. Working with Government to deliver this iconic facility ahead of celebrating Perth’s bicentennial will be critical for Perth.
GREEN GOALS
Urban forest planting is critical to make sure we green and cool our city.
I’m committed to expanding the tree canopy across the city through planting more street trees and enhancing our natural areas.

The City of Perth needs direction and ratepayers deserve a strong voice. I’m standing for Council again because I’m passionate about improving my local area and finishing the job I started.
I served for 8 years as a Councillor at the City of Joondalup, as well as for the last 5 years as Councillor and Deputy Lord Mayor of Perth - Local experience, proven service, stable leadership – that’s what you can expect from me.
I’m experienced in setting the long-term strategic vision of a large local government and implementing a diverse Council budget.
I’m skilled at chairing and leading Committees and representing ratepayers on the Development Assessment Panel.
I have a track record of working cohesively in a team of elected members and getting the basics of local government right.
I have advocated on behalf of residents to update ageing infrastructure, worked with local associations to deliver new community clubrooms, and championed residents’ issues at Council meetings.
